Hello! this is the site for Otterly Chris and Foxy Zilla
As a Washington based duo we cosplay together, play games, and run the crafting business Fox and Otter Creations. We look forward to continuing our nerdy passions and creating a name associated with friendship, guidance, and acceptance.
A Brief History
We started out as your typical nerds, and really that hasn't changed.
Chris introduced Zilla to theater and Zilla in turn introduced Chris to anime and conventions, out of those passions sprung a new love of cosplay.
First it was just little things, like dressing up in victorian style for the local convention, or throwing together closet cosplays of Kiba and Hinata from Naruto for a day at the park with friends. Our first official cosplays were Aries and Leo from Fairytail in 2013 at SpoCon. Since then we have only expanded our cosplay closet, with no end in sight.
We started the business in 2018 to do alterations for local cosplayers and renaissance cast. Our Etsy shop became a reality in 2019, offering unique fleece hats over the holidays. A few months later the pandemic hit, causing Chris to quit their job due to health concerns. The silver lining was being able to dedicate energy to running Fox and Otter Creations full time. We now offer many made-to-order items, from badge holders, to dice bags and trays, to hats and even fully custom kigurumi. Someday we hope to also have regular stock, and perhaps table as conventions re-open.

Otterly Chris has a bachelors in Art with a minor in Biology. They are pursuing running the business and crafting full time, and teaching at a fabric store when available.
"I have been creating for as long as I can remember. This passion has grown over time as I learned new techniques and explored different fields of art. I truly began as a cosplayer in 2013 and as a mermaid in 2015. I am here to learn, to teach, to laugh, to love, and overall to have fun and MAKE ART."

Foxy Zilla currently works in the food industry. She loves her crew and her customers and plans on continuing in the field where she can make people happy and full.
"I have fond memories of watching anime and cartoons with my brother growing up. I now have a wonderful spouse to share this with, and who introduced me to cosplay. Through these hobbies - as well as my love for gaming - I have met all kinds of people and made lots of new friends. I hope to continue making friends and enjoying nerd life with them."
